Hours : 8AM to 5PM CST – Monday to Friday

Must Haves :

o Previous experience in logistics / transportation preferably in air and small parcel shipping

o Proficient at basic MS suite such as Excel

o Self-driven, problem-solver, good communication skills, and ability to work independently

Education :

o While candidates with completed degrees are preferred, a degree is not required to be considered for this position

Experience : Preferably at least 1 year of experience

o This role will be part of Transportation team that operates the $300M transportation network.

o Whether tracking international containers across the globe, coordinating road trucks moving parts between US, Canada, and Mexico, or finding new ways to execute urgent last-minute air shipments to a engine down customer, this team plays a critical role in supply chain execution.

o Working with different carriers and freight management providers to solve our customers unique and time sensitive delivery needs, the Transportation team manages through constraints and never has a standard day.

Key Responsibilities for this position will include the following :

• Coordinate international air freight for all business units.
• Provide end to end visibility to air freight stakeholders utilizing freight forwarders s, web portals, and established trackers.
• Facilitate meetings with carriers to resolve open issues and fire-fighting tasks.
• Support with small parcel shipment set up and track and trace.

Qualifications and Competencies :

• While candidates with completed degrees are preferred, a degree is not required to be considered for this position.
• Manager is seeking candidates with experience in transportation / logistics / supply chain.
• MS Excel proficiency is a must.
• Selected hire must be self-driven and be able to work independently.
