We’re looking for an dynamic and energetic educator who loves working with children of all ages. This position is ideal for a college graduate who is looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, and we’re looking for a motivated professional who can engage students, design curriculum and implement learning plans with an understanding of place based education and multiage learning environments. Experience teaching in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Forest School inspired settings is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Present engaging, hands on, interactive lessons.
• Collaborate with Place Based Educator and Director of Education to create emergent place based curriculum.
• Support children’s social emotional needs in conjunction with school therapist.
• Develop educational policy.
• Assess student performance and conduct evaluations.
• Be able to explain complex concepts to students and parents.
• Be able to plan and prepare lessons and communicate with students, parents, and colleagues through written and oral means.
• Experience with Spanish Language a plus.

This position has a start date of September 2023.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 – $43,000.00 per year
