Logistics Coordinator Job Description:

• Negotiate rates and choose the best shipping option based on each shipment.
• Prioritize, arrange booking and schedule pickups for freight shipments
• Work as a team with shipping and sales department in coordinating transports according to requirements.
• Follow up and resolve issues related to the scheduling or situations during and after transit with the carriers.
• Adhere to all industry, federal, country, state and local regulations and laws.
• Supply accurate Import/Export documents to Custom Brokers/agents for clearance purposes.
• Tracking, tracing and sending pre-alerts of shipment details to clients.
• Complete related documentation (including SLI, export certificates, and carrier AWB’s) between customers, vendors, forwarders, brokers.
