Roma Black Associates Looking for Sales Support Engineer at Coventry Full Time

Roma Black are proud to be working with a nationwide civil engineering and materials processing company who are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join their team in the Coventry office. 

The role will involve supporting all aspects of the sale of aggregate equipment to maximise opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities of a Sales Support Engineer:

• Responding to enquires from field sales engineers and potential clients
• Selecting equipment and confirming the results in a commercial and technical proposal
• Processing orders
• Updating SAP business system
• Defining and agreeing customer requirements and recommending equipment
• Updating database / systems
• Attending sites to asses application and installation considerations
• Supporting field sales engineers on client visits
• Developing strong commercial relationships both internal and external
• Issuing technical information for equipment installation
• Attending exhibitions and equipment training courses

Required skills and experience of a Sales Support Engineer:

• Knowledge and understanding of aggregates and quarrying
• Experience of sales support and making proposals to clients
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Engineering qualification would be a distinct advantage

Features and Benefits:

• Salary up to £45,000 p/a
• 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
