About the role
Rokt is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Manager. As an SRE Manager at Rokt, you will be leading an autonomous high-performing team.
The ideal candidate for the Site Reliability Engineering Manager role is someone who demonstrates a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both software engineering and systems engineering.
We are looking for an individual who can lead our team in maintaining high system reliability, scaling systems efficiently, and ensuring that our infrastructure supports the rapid growth and evolving needs of our business.

Develop and implement a comprehensive SRE strategy that aligns with the company’s growth and technology roadmap.
Lead and expand the SRE team, ensuring effective onboarding and continuous skill development.
Drive initiatives to improve system reliability, monitoring, incident response, and automation.
Collaborate with other engineering teams to design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions.
SRE go-to person for USA-Engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in commercial software development experience designing, building and operating distributed systems and 2+ years of experience in managing engineering teams
Have a passion for reliability and scaling of distributed systems.
Polyglot engineer with commercial experience in one of the following : Java, C#, Python, JavaScript or Go. You have written a lot of performant easy-to-maintain code using best practices.
You can smell bad code and provide constructive feedback during code review.
Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role in a large-scale, high-traffic environment (eCommerce / Ads / consumer-facing tech).
Strong background in both software and systems engineering.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and growing SRE OR infrastructure teams.
Expertise in automation, system scalability, and performance optimization.
