Seeking part-time high school teacher,

• Monday to Friday
• Monday-Thursday between 1:45 pm – 4:50 pm (hours may vary but will be a total of 12 periods / hours per week)
• Friday between 11 am – 2 pm (tentatively)
• Courses: US History 10th grade – 2 sections
• GovEc (US government & economics) 12th grade – 1 section
• * Each section meets 4x/week for 42 minutes = 168 minutes total per course*
• All three courses = 12 periods of 42 minutes (12 hours / week)
• Perfect for a current high school teacher able to add on to his/her schedule for some extra $$ OR a recently retired or self-employed teacher
• Small classes (15-19 students)

Curriculum overview, textbooks and materials available. Candidate should speak English fluently, be legally authorized to work in the US, and be able to commute and teach in person.

Classroom is light & has a smart board (touchscreen Newline display).

The ideal candidate is proficient at classroom management, is a positive and upbeat presence, organized and submits attendance and requests for copies in a timely fashion, and uses all 42 minutes of class effectively (bell to bell).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour
