Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and collect on accounts receivable for an existing book of accounts within an ERP System, including proper customer maintenance, billing address, credit limits, billing frequency, etc.
• Resolve customer billing issues in a timely manner so as to expedite cash flow and minimize accounts receivable delinquency
• Schedule regular meetings with Branch Managers to review their customer accounts and seek their input on proposed collection activities
• Responsible for determining accounts for third party collection and write-off where appropriate and within corporate credit goals
• Prepare Past Due A/R reports, On Hold reports and analysis for management on a regular basis.
• Ability to work well under pressure with a large portfolio while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
• Collection calls and/or correspondence to solicit payment on overdue accounts and take all necessary actions to collect.
• Work closely with the Sales and/or the Branch Manager to resolve and/or assist in any customer delinquency issues
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor.
• Qualifications:
• Collections experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent Customer Service (telephone skills), work performance and attendance
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of collection software applications preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure in a fast pasted environment and maintain rapport with colleagues and clients
• Strong analytical skills
• Great organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting, creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills
• Sense of urgency and ownership, possess strong decision-making skills
• Strong follow-up skills – follows up aggressively on project/process details

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
