FINANCE ASSISTANT – PART TIME (30 hours per week over 5 days)

Salary £19,500 – £21,000

Reporting to Financial Accountant

Job Purpose:

To assist the finance department with processing and reconciliations; provide general finance administration assistance to other finance team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raising sales ledger invoices
• Credit control for sales invoices
• Clear down ESP sales ledger debtors
• Member activity fund reconciliations
• Processing of company credit card transactions
• Reconciliation of payments to racquets coaches
• Processing of cheque payments
• Events P&L reconciliations and posting
• Internal events reconciliations and posting
• Assist with month end reporting procedures
• Reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts
• Processing month end journals
• General assistance to other finance team members with ad hoc accounting tasks and administrative needs.

Qualifications and competencies

• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Flexibility
• Experience of Sage 200
• Excel intermediate usage skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to solve errors on a timely basis.
• Be a quick learner and possess the ability to follow structure and set procedures
• Good organisational and time management skills
