Administration
What success looks like:
Inbox Management – making sure that all emails are either responded to, actioned or directed to the appropriate person, always prioritising and categorising regularly each day to make sure I can balance important vs urgent
Queries – owning the HR phone line, being the first port of call for our people where I can either respond concisely, gather all the facts or direct the query to the right person in the team
New Starters – Owning the full end-to-end new starter process ensuring the correct systems and documentation is completed, issued and recorded alongside a personal employee experience.
Leavers – Leading the full leaver process and experience including conducting exit interviews to gain quality employee insight
Changes – Ownership of the end to end process for all contractual amendments including changes in roles, salary and all other terms and conditions.
Compliance – Covering a wide aspect across the role, keeping accurate records and information for key HR compliance including DBS checks, references, right to work checks and immunisations.
Probation Periods – Working with our new colleagues and their line managers to ensure probations are completed in full and balances with their induction
Family Leave – Completing the full Maternity and Paternity processes with our colleagues, offering an insightful and caring approach throughout all the stages
Acquisitions – Working with the HRBP, reviewing and recording key due diligence for incoming practices, flagging areas outside the “norm” and ensuring their welcome to the business is smooth and a relaxed transition
Subject Access Requests – Managing the collation of requested information in the timeframe and ensuring the issue of information safely
Projects – Continuously and passionately looking for ways to improve our ways of working and drive efficiencies. Taking on ad-hoc projects that will help drive change and your own development.

How will I manage my time and learn to prioritise on a continual basis?
How will I balance a high volume workload with differing detail?
What is the best employee experience I can provide in my role?
How would I handle a difficult conversation with an employee and when to pass to a colleague?
Can I communicate well by phone, email and face to face, even when I’m having a bad day?
How could I streamline processes to make it easier for both others first and myself second?
Systems
What success looks like:
That all of our key HR systems and databases are kept up to date with real-time information of our people
Ensuring our benefits/internal communications and e-learning platforms are readily available and up to date for our people at the right times including acquisitions
Utilising the reporting functions within the systems to provide key data in maintaining the administration of our people

How will I dedicate my time to ensure the system is always up to date and correct?
Can I allow myself time to get to know the system and how it works?
