Job Description

The Python Developer develops tools and solutions in order to optimize inter-departmental workflows and to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of administration and production staff, enabling everyone to produce visual effects that meet the studio’s high quality standards.

Main responsibilities:
Developing systems and tools to help manage employee data

Create seamless integrations between software being used by various teams

Participating in software architecture and design

Helping to establish guidelines for future projects based on your experience

Help with the development of systems and tools dedicated to various internal departments as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years experience with Python

Experience with docker and containerization, microservices

Experience with REST APIs and integrating external services

Clear communication and ability to translate technical to non-technical

Name must be MacGyver (Flexible, able to find and evaluate alternative solutions)

Experience with Shotgun (ShotGrid) / GSuite / Salesforce / SmartRecruiters / Netsuite / AssetPanda / SpaceIQ / LucidChart / Monday.com / Atlassian a plus

Experience in the VFX industry a plus.
