Rockstar London is on the lookout for a talented Writers Assistant who possess a passion for writing. This is an entry level role that will have you providing administrative support to our writing team in all areas of their workflows.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of London.

WHAT WE DO

• The writing team works closely with various departments across the studios in developing narratives, characters, dialogue, in-game media, world building interactions, and world building discoveries.
• The writing team works to push the limits of creating compelling and unique experiences that resonate with a global audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the day-to-day production workflow for lead writers, including managing calendars.
• Providing administrative support to the lead writers, both in the writer’s room and at script level.
• Providing administrative support in all areas to the Senior VP of Narrative.
• Take notes during meetings, writing room sessions, organise documents and scripts, and distribute materials.
• Assist as needed with other written content related to projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.

SKILLS

• Someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment and has the ability to work swiftly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational & prioritisation skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well to deadlines, attention to detail, process knowledge and multi-task.
• Strong skills in note taking, proofreading, editing, and tracking creative ideas.
• Be a self-starter with a sense of humour and eager to learn.
