Rocklin Park Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a Remote Veterinary Recruiter to our team!

This position provides a unique opportunity within the Veterinary industry to work remotely, with a flexible schedule.

All candidates must have prior experience in the Veterinary industry and must possess excellent customer service and computer skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working directly with our Management Team to assess recruiting opportunities.

• Utilizing various hiring platforms, including but not limited to Indeed and iHire.

• Customizing job advertisements to meet the needs of each individual hospital.

• Maintaining professional and engaging communication with the candidates throughout their hiring experience.

• Conducting preliminary interviews; communicating digitally via phone, email, text, and video.

• Assessing candidates through a combination of behavioral interview and competency-based evaluations.

• Communicating progress and setting appointments for qualified second interviews with hospital managers.

• Soliciting feedback from hospital managers regarding recruiting outcomes and adjusting hiring strategy accordingly.

• Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

• Ability to think critically; understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

• Exhibit strong problem solving and an organized approach to the position.

• Assist other departments when needed.

• Follow OSHA regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates with the following skills will be given preference:

• Veterinary experience (6+ months)

• Recruiting or Management experience (1+ year)

Physical Effort:

• Frequently required to sit, talk, and listen, frequently working in a bent position.

• Frequently use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, utilizing a keyboard and mouse.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position. The employee will be provided with the necessary equipment for business use (computer and cell phone). The employee must maintain access to a strong wifi connection and cell service to perform the job successfully. The employee will be expected to communicate digitally via phone, email, text, and video. The employee must maintain a professional workspace free from hazard, distraction, and excessive background noise. The employee must follow federal and state laws and regulations, including OSHA.
