The role
You will be leading the Trust’s Education & Employability team, maximising current programmes and identifying new opportunities for growth. With experience gained in at least one of our three core Programmes – Sports College, Alternative Provision and Trainee & Employability Skills – you will have the transferable skills to lead the growth of all three.
This is a varied role – you will be involved in supporting the delivery of our programmes but will also be responsible for setting and achieving the team’s strategic goals.
You will be building relationships with key partners across the region, identifying new opportunities for growth and source funding alongside designing new projects and pilot programmes.
This is a terrific opportunity to take on a newly created role and really make it your own. With guidance from the Trust Director you will be able to set your own framework and shape the direction of the department. But above all you will be making a material difference to the lives of the people of Rochdale.
What are we looking for?
While experience gained within a sporting club foundation/trust would be ideal, we are also very interested in talking to people who can bring ideas from other backgrounds.
You will be credible and passionate about delivering high quality programmes and monitoring the progress and outcomes of all young people accessing our programmes. In return we can offer you the chance to work in an organisation which genuinely makes a difference to people’s lives.
