Roc Search are currently recruiting for a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager to join a highly successful team working for one of the World’s leading Civil Infrastructure organisations. This role will be covering the North West of England stretching from South Manchester and Merseyside up to Cumbria.
This role will be providing Senior Project Management services within the Operational teams on major UK projects and strategies, working closely with the Project Executives and programme Managers. The right person will be required to provide mentoring and support to junior Project Managers where required.
Responsibilities:
Managing the delivery of medium to high risk projects
Operating within and agreed budget, programme, quality criteria and timescale
Contribute to the project delivery in line with legislation, Environmental Agency policy and required environmental outcomes
Guide, advise and support team members
Monitor progress of work, identify gaps in the delivery, produce required documentation, repots, agree quality standards
Participate in and lead local project groups to achieve well planned and manage integrated solutions
Provide leadership, mentoring and development to client staff where required
Essential skills include experience with:
Previous experience working in Flood Protection, Flood management and Water Control
Minimum of 6 years Project Management experience
Project management qualification – PRINCE2 or APM
A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, environmental science or geography
Experience in NEC3 and NEC4 and project management
A member of a related professional body, preferable chartered
A track record of delivering complex, high-risk projects successfully including work on civil engineering projects
Full UK driving licence
