The Engineering Efficiency team builds products and services to enable Roblox engineers to develop software that can be delivered to production quickly and efficiently while maintaining an exceptional level of quality.

Our customers are our coworkers, and you will work with engineers across Roblox to design, build and maintain the development systems used by Engineers across Roblox.

You will work on projects at every stage of the pipeline, improving Roblox engineering quality, velocity and happiness.

As the Engineering Manager for the Engineering Efficiency Infrastructure pod, you will develop the team that ensures a highly scalable, resilient and performant pipeline allowing for the continued growth of Roblox Engineering.

This includes the set of systems and services that all engineers use to develop the Roblox platform, with a special focus on modernizing our binary / artifact management system.

You will to the Director of Engineering Efficiency.

You Will :

• Lead, support, and grow a team of engineers to build and maintain a global-scale development pipeline for Roblox.
• Define the next generation of Binary / Artifact Distribution for Roblox
• Work with cross-functional partners and your team to define clear visions, roadmaps, and SLO / APIs, and drive the execution end-to-end.
• Have the opportunity to pick up new and innovative technologies as the landscape evolves, take the long view and expand our vision to put the Roblox community first.
• You will be a part of the leadership team and help us shape the direction and priorities of the Engineering Efficiency organization

You Have :

• Passion about the engineering experience, and will act as an advocate across engineering for the importance of efficient practices to that experience
• Proven experience maintaining and evolving large scale Enterprise systems in a Multi-cloud environment.
• Clear vision and strong execution to handle emerging challenges
• 5+ years of managing experience and a solid track record of hiring and growing a high performing infrastructure-focused software engineering team.
• Ability to work with a variety of cross functional partners to help set priorities and align goals.

This is a hybrid role, and requires 3 days / week in our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA : The starting base pay for this position is as shown below.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.

Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$283,780 $331,640 USD
