Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with a Sporting Organisation, who are currently seeking a Finance Analyst, to join their team on an 18-month fixed term contract. This post can be based nationwide and fully remote if required. Reporting into an experienced Finance Manager, you will play a leading role in the financial management of one of the organisation’s most important, complex divisions. Through the provision of financial support and analysis, you will enable them to deliver targets in line with the new strategic plan.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Interpret highly complex financial information to provide detailed strategic analysis on both individual projects and the financial position of the organisation.
• Write analytical reports based on large data sets and financial models, providing thoughtful and analytical discussion to aid the financial planning process.
• Partnering with stakeholders across various departments to provide financial analysis and strategic support on the financial performance of their various projects.
• Liaise with external advisors on the current regulatory and macroeconomic environment, that will have an impact on the organisations forecasted revenues.
• Provide accurate preparation of the organisation’s provisions in a timely manner to be submitted for the annual accounts.

The successful candidate will be:

• Fully qualified with a CCAB qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc)
• Well experienced in financial and management accounting, as well as providing financial analysis.
• A confident communicator who has a demonstrable ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• An intermediate user of Excel.
