Robert Half is working with growing business to find a talented Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Institute management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
• Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers
• Catalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
• Investigate compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
• Build up the organization’s human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
• Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
• Support employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
• Supervise all HR activities, communications, s, requests and documents created and received by the team
• Monitor s provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
• Oversee exit interviews and procedures
• Create recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
• Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
• Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
• Wide knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
• A familiarity with the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
• Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
• Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
• 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
• 5+ years in human resources
• Ability to view issues without prejudice
• PHR / SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
• Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
