Robert Half Hiring for Interim Financial Controller Job at Chesterfield, England Full Time

Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth SME in Chesterfield to recruit an Interim Financial Controller to their team. This business has grown extensively over the past few years. So much so that they probably won’t be considered an SME much longer.

Having recently brought in a new CFO to assist the owners with the long-term strategic plan and potential expansion opportunities, they are now looking to bring in an Interim Financial Controller to manage the day to day finance function.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

• Manage a transactional accounting team
• Own the month-end process
• Support with preparation of statutory accounts
• Assist the CFO on finance change projects

The right person for this role will be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience owning a month-end process. You will have a strong technical accounting background (ideally from practice) but will want to have a broader commercial focus to your role. This is a great chance to be involved in a local growth story that could turn into a longer term opportunity.
