Robert Half is currently recruiting exclusively for an experienced CA or CPA qualified Group Accountant to start immediately for an Industry Leading Australian Company that’s 100% family owned. This role is offering a 8 month temp assignment.

Our client has multiple operations across Australia and exports to countries all around the world.

Seeking an experienced Group Accountant who is immediately available and ready to join a motivated finance team.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Manager you will be responsible for

Some typical duties will involve:

• Profit and Loss
• High Volume Reconciliation
• Journals
• End of Month Accounting tasks
• Accounts Receivable
• Foreign Currency calculations
• Export Purchase Facility
• Capital Expenditure
• Financial Reporting
• Audit
• Ad-hoc Finance Duties

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a medium to large sized organisation. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• CA or CPA
• A detailed understanding of accounting policies, procedures, and standards
• Proven Accounting experience
• Understanding of Foreign Exchange
• Strong analytical & investigative approach
• Experience in systems development
• Ability to work well in a team environment, mentor and develop staff
• Ability to report to senior Management
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel Skills
• ERP system knowledge
