Robert Half Talent Management are seeking a Group Financial Accountant for this agile company in North Cardiff.

The role

Reporting to the Head, Reporting & Control, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the delivery of statutory year end accounts, monthly reporting, and other external reporting within agreed timetables

• Manage the group month end reporting and consolidation process
• Collating a month end file including a journal review and balance sheet reconciliations
• Providing support to the FP&A team
• Ledger maintenance including updating the mapping for new accounts
• Planning & preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Day to day management of the external audit
• Assisting with the planning & preparation of the corporation tax computation
• Prepare the Quarterly VAT return
• Manage a small team within the financial reporting team, including staff development and appraisals
• Support the transactional department with process improvements
• Support other Continuous Improvement activities across Finance and participate in cross functional groups.
• Improve and maintain internal control processes

Package:

Salary to £43,000 plus hybrid working – 1 day a week in the office. Excellent mentor and staff development.
