Robert Half Hiring for Finance Manager | 12 month fixed term contract Job at Sydney Full Time

Our client is looking for a highly experince and skilled finance manager to be responsible for overseeing Accounting, run month end, stat reporting, audit, cashflow, working capital, budgets and forecasts and tax (locally and from their USA offices).

The duties include:

• Developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with finance policies and procedures
• Managing the month-end and year-end process
• Preparing & lodging statutory financial statements & returns – GST/VAT, Superannuation, FBT, Payroll tax etc.
• Ensuring timely and accurate P&L reconciliations with variation analysis
• Preparing budgets for GLC Group
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Working with department heads to ensure that accruals & prepayments are processed monthly
• Managing cash-flow and working capital
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Regular communication and information sharing with the Group Corporate Controller

Experience

• Experience with modern accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics GP an advantage
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to communicate to the business leaders
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• An excellent level of organisational skills
