Exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant with a very well-known and respected employer in Melbourne’s CBD.
The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a leading Melbourne employer. Reporting to the Finance Manager, our client is seeking a professional Candidate who is able to take ownership of this role.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Complex bank reconciliations
- General ledger reconciliations
- Large Supplier reconciliations
- Allocations
- Revenue accounting
- Monthly journals
- Accruals & prepayments
- Payroll reconciliations
- Month-end reporting
Your Profile
To be successful, you will be an experienced and competent Assistant Accountant who is able to work autonomously.
Previous experience working in a high transaction environment coupled with very strong reconciliation skills will see you successful in this role.
An intermediate to advanced level of Excel will also be beneficial.
You will have previously worked in a fast-paced environment and have the confidence to pick up new systems, processes, and procedures.
