Robert Half Hiring for Accounting Clerk Job at Salt Lake City, UT Full Time

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Clerk to work in the Service industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary position based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Do you thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment? Key responsibilities

• Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
• Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
• Post financial information to journals and ledgers
• Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
• Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit
• Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources
• General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
• Outstanding data entry skills
• Customer invoices experience
• Enter Invoices experience required
• Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
• Ability to multitask effectively
