Roadtrek Inc. is currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join their team. This position is responsible to support the Quality Management System through inspections, audits, control of non-conforming product, training, control of records, corrective and preventative actions and other activities as assigned. This position is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities May Include:
· Follow Quality Management System for all quality processes and perform departmental audits.
· Perform Quality inspections and tests for first articles, raw material, in process and final product as required.
· Control non-conforming product, issue NCR’s and Quality Alerts.
· Drawing, Specifications, Industry requirements interpretation.
· Communication with Suppliers to solve quality issues.
· Responsible for the Receiving Inspection and NCR areas.
· Follow up on Customer Complaints for corrective action implementation.
· Responsible for the Measuring devices calibration process.
· Work with all departments to drive continual improvement to achieve quality goals.
· Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Head of Quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· College diploma in related quality field (Quality Assurance/Quality Control), Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural technologist or Architectural design.
· Experience using basic measuring devices (Micrometer, High Gauge, Multimeter, Vernier, Protractor, Tape measure, etc.).
· Drawings and specifications interpretation.
· Previous experience as a Quality Auditor within a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
· Ability to take initiative and learn quickly within a fast-paced challenging environment.
· Familiar with MS Excel, Power point & Access will be an asset.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
