RoadStar Trucking Hiring for TruckMate / Samsara Specialist Full Time

RoadStar Trucking is looking for a hands on IT professional with a focus on the TruckMate / Samsara / PCMiler / Paperwise, etc. as well as other trucking related software programs to continue to allow RoadStar to streamline / integrate / implement new technologies. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working with drivers, operations, customers & ownership. The candidate needs to be able to trouble shoot & problem solve in the cab, work with drivers in person & over the phone, work with the day to day operations team coaching, mentoring & training on current & new technology, functionality and features to get the most out of the systems deployed. As a key leader, continually looking forward at current & emerging technologies keeping the company looking forward & leading edge. Able to effectively manage 3rd party vendor relationships that are critical to the success of the company.

• Support drivers, operations & leadership with a hands on approach to problem solving & support
• Work with operations to ensure that we are using current technology to its utmost
• Pro-actively identify new features, new technology, new processes to drive out waste
• Assist leadership team developing IT road map

• Establishes effective communications with managers & operations department to continuously improve

• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• 2 to 5 years of IT experience, with a focus on TruckMate / TMW / Samsara, etc.
• General operational knowledge of the transportation industry
• Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills (oral & written).
• Strong solid negotiations skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both internally & externally at all levels
• Self motivated, positive, optimistic attitude
• Superior planning & organizational skills.

Salary: $45,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
