About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time Events Executive to join the RA team and assist in the realisation of the association’s strategic plan, through the facilitation of a range of member events. 

ing to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of events from beginning to end, to ensure that they are consistently delivered to a high, professional standard within budget. As such, you will be expected to:

• Develop and implement an event management plan 
• Coordinate event logistics
• Confidently liaise with event suppliers, speakers and sponsors 
• Effectively manage the event budget and coordinate the efficient processing of quotes and invoices
• Manage event attendance numbers and the creation and distribution of digital marketing materials
• Provide onsite support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly and any issues are efficiently and effectively resolved.

About you

As the preferred incumbent you will possess:

• Strong project coordination skills, including good organisation skills and attention to detail 
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport with stakeholders across all levels
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce (ideal but not essential)
• Experience using event platforms and marketing automation tools (ideal but not essential)
• A proven ability to operate autonomously and as team player, depending on what the situation requires
