About You
You have worked in large organisations and your experience consists of processing large volumes of invoices. You have a comprehensive understanding of the process involved between a purchase order and invoice and you are preferably familiar with large ERP systems, Workday and SAP. In addition to this, you have excellent communication skills; you successfully liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. Overall, you are proactive and independent, and you offer invaluable support to your team.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have :
Working knowledge and understanding of accounting theory, principles, policies and procedures or demonstrated accounts payable experience utilising financial management technological solutions, preferably Workday or other ERP systems in a large organisation.
Demonstrated experience making effective and timely decisions by applying data, problem solving and analytical skills to solve issues requiring sound judgment, discretion and tact to achieve desired outcomes.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, communication skills (both written and verbal) and organizational skills to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to assess priorities, apply and interpret financial policies and procedures.
Proven ability to provide responsive, quality and timely customer service with an ability to adapt to a growing and changing environment.

Financial services partners with other areas of the university in achieving the organisation’s objectives by strategically orienting its provision of financial services to the delivery of the core operations of the university.
