At RL music, we are lovers of music and creativity. We operate the financial and accounting aspects of a broad array of businesses, that are engaged with music bands, artists, promoters, among others. We have a diversified business accounts. We are constantly learning and looking for opportunities to improve and grow our clients/businesses.

We are looking to hire an accountant that has experience in small business. The accountant will be responsibility of managing and overseeing all accounting of our clients’ business, while monitoring while enforcing proper accounting methods and policies. The accountant is key to the continuation of the growth of our business.

Requirements:

– Have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related is required

– Have at least 10 years of accounting experience required

– Speak, write and read Spanish is a plus

– Must have knowledge of computer programs like: QuickBooks, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

– Have excellent organizational and time management skills

– Have strong understanding of accounting and finance

– Must be able to manage multiple tasks with precise attention to detail

– Have excellent problem solving and common-sense skills

– Must be willing to perform different duties

– Must have experience in small company environment

– Be able to adapt easily and be flexible

– Have ability to work without supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time

Responsibilities:

– Manage all accounting of different types of businesses

– Assist, organized and implement accounting systems

– Complete tax forms

– Keep accounting filing in order

– Lead month-end and year-end close process

– Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are accurately prepared in a timely manner

– Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial ing

– Develop process measurements and implement controls to monitor current processes

– Ensure compliance with local, state and federal ing requirements

– Manage and maintain all accounting general operations and processes

– Other accounting tasks.

Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
