Riverview Adult Day Health Center Hiring for CNA/QMA – Certified Nursing Assistant/Qualified Medication Assistant at Elkhart, IN Full Time

Riverview Adult Day Health Center is a not for profit, adult day health center located in Elkhart.

We are looking for a skilled CNA/QMA (Certified Nursing Assistant/Qualified Medication Assistant) to become a part of our center’s compassionate care-giving team. The CNA/QMA (Certified Nursing Assistant/Qualified Medication Assistant) provides nursing and nursing related services to guests consistent with each guest’s comprehensive assessment and plan of care. The CNA/QMA assists the person to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible. The QMA assists with passing medications as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• CNA Certification (Current or renewable).
• QMA Certification (Current or renewable).
• 1-2 years of experience working dementia preferred.
• Requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Up to date first aid and CPR certification.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy.
