With operations across Australia, we are currently looking for a Finance Officer to join our team at Head Quarters. Based at our Newstead office, you will have the opportunity to put your generalist finance skills to work.

Reporting to an experienced and supportive Financial Controller, this role will see you:

managing and completing the Accounts Payable process from purchase order matching to invoice through to payment

forecasting AP cash requirements

processing EFT payment runs

managing and processing fortnightly payrolls

Accounts Receivable cash receipting and account reconciliations for our customers

maintenance of the expense management system

On the job training will be provided and it would be great if you’re studying your CPA or Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

be safety focused

possess a growth mindset

demonstrate your experience in a similar role, and use of an ERP (preferably Pronto, but not essential)

have strong written and verbal communication skills

work well both autonomously and in a collaborative team environment
