Rivendell Distribution & Sod Farm Hiring for Yard Manager at Glenwood Springs, CO Full Time

Rivendell Distribution, Inc. is looking for an Yard Associate to join our growing company. A successful Associate is a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping, physical and analytical abilities.

The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to drive and operate a fork-lift. Knowledge about landscaping and garden products preferred. In additional to overseeing inventory, the candidate will be responsible for loading all local shipping trucks, and receiving all incoming delivery trucks.

Yard Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily stock levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
• Unloading semi’s, and loading all Rivendell outgoing orders via fork lift.
• Helping load all customers upon in store purchase.
• Helping keep yard, warehouse, and store front clean and presentable.
• Learning all product locations and restocking as needed.
• Performing all outdoor landscaping and maintenance needs around the property. IE; Mowing, Weeding, Planting, etc.
• Support inside sales team including front desk sales, telephone, email inquiries, and customer service support.
• Resolve order damages in coordination with office manager.

Yard Associate Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

• Fork Lift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Pay: $20- $25 per hour depending on qualifications

Duration: Seasonal April-November

Work Location: Spring Valley of Glenwood Springs, about 20 minutes by car from downtown Glenwood, one mile past the CMC Spring Valley campus.
