RIVA Precision and its off-shoot: RIVA New York is seeking a talented and hard-working Digital Content Creator/Shopify Expert to join our marketing team. We are a family-owned jewelry manufacturing company that services designers and brands (B2B), and we also recently launched a B2C ethical jewelry brand. We are looking for a creative individual who also has strong process and operational skills to assist with content creation, social media management, web design, web merchandising, and general marketing coordination. If you enjoy being creative (copywriting, photoshoots, video shoots) and being analytical/process-oriented at the same time, this job is perfect for you.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
– In collaboration with and under the guidance of the Creative Director: creating content (photo, video) for and posting to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn for both the B2B and B2C sectors
– Writing blog posts, product descriptions, collection descriptions, e-newsletters for both the B2B and B2C sectors
– Ideating and creating content for digital advertising campaigns and marketing campaigns for both the B2B and B2C sectors
– In collaboration with and under the guidance of the Creative Director: creating and maintaining social media, blog and marketing calendars
– Photography for both the B2C and B2B websites (ecom, lifestyle, still life/flat lays)
– Helping coordinate photo shoots and video shoots (scouting talent/models, scheduling, release form signing, etc.)
– Will serve as our Shopify subject matter expert
– Adding products/collections to both the B2B and B2C Shopify sites
– In charge of continually updating and improving the home pages and various pages of both the B2B and B2C Shopify sites
– In collaboration with and under the guidance of the Creative Director: creating and scheduling newsletter and e-blasts to coincide with product and collection launches
– Responsible for the upkeep of the company’s HubSpot (i.e., take on the HubSpot admin role)
– Assist the sales and executive teams in B2B sales enablement endeavors (creating proposals, scheduling Zoom meetings, lead nurturing, the occasional trade shows)
– Assist in seasonal B2C pop-up events (usually in the spring/summer, and some fall/winter)
Please Apply if You Meet the Following Minimum Requirements:
– 3 or more years of job experience in a content creator role (whether D2C, B2B, or a combination of both); experience in fashion or luxury is ideal, but not required
– Demonstrable experience in managing and creating content for Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, LinkedIn
– Demonstrable experience in creating and managing a Shopify site
– Some experience in HubSpot or any CRM
– Experience in taking and editing photos
– Experience in taking videos
– Experience in copywriting and copyediting
– Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, some InDesign) and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Experience in using Dropbox, Canva, etc.
– Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, and ongoing basis, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
– Flexibility to commute back and forth to our office in Brooklyn, NY
Not Required, But Nice-to-Haves:
– Video editing skills
– Knowledge of SEO
– Knowledge of procurement and sourcing (e.g., packaging materials, props for shoots)
– Prop styling
