Location: Usually this role would be based full time in our Covent Garden office, although currently in line with government guidance our office staff are currently working a hybrid model.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The role of our Payroll and HR Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of managing employee salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate and payments are made on time. You will help manage the Payroll for UK, Ireland and Head Office employees.
You will also be responsible for managing certain aspects of the HR function (detailed below) and Workday administration for Rituals UK&IE.
Principal Accountabilities:
Administer payroll for all UK and Ireland employees
Prepare reports for weekly, quarterly and yearly checks
Support with payroll checking on a monthly basis
Assist setting up new users on ADP
Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation
Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them
Deducting tax and pension payments
Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
Prepare personnel administration
Maintain sickness and holiday records for office staff.
Managing the Payroll / HR Inbox and responding to queries.
Supporting key Payroll/HR projects.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in a Retail / Payroll Administrator role
A clear understanding of payroll laws, taxes and PAYE procedures
Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP etc.
Good systems knowledge using office and payroll software ADP
Workday System experience (Desirable)
Excellent communication skills both
Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
Attention to detail is a must
Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
