We’re looking for a Leadership & Development Internship. The work location for this position is Burnaby, BC (in Canada) or Minneapolis, MN and is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement.
The Opportunity:
Great opportunity to develop administrative skills and exposure to remove office environment
In this role you’ll:
- Maintain appropriate records, files, documentation and resource materials.
- Administer department mailboxes, intranet team site, and Learning Management System.
- Track assignment progress, prepare data spreadsheets, and monitor registrations for programs.
- Prepare surveys and prepare reports on leadership and development programs.
- Execute admin and communication plans for leadership and development programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Flexible work arrangement of 10-15 hours per week for 9 months
- Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
Here’s what you bring:
- Experience in an administrative role with a high degree of technical ability supporting a team is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is a must.
- A proven commitment to providing fantastic customer service.
- Experience with preparing meeting minutes, formatting documents, developing templates, preparing correspondence, filing, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks effectively and to see them through to timely completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
