Quality Engineer

Salary- £35,000 per annum  

Location- Annesley, Nottinghamshire 

Shift- 39 working week- Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM
Aerospace Quality Engineer

You will be joining a reputable engineering company who supply components into civil and military aerospace and defence industry sectors

For this Aerospace Quality Engineer position, you must:
• Nadcap special process experience
• Experience of working with AS9100 requirements
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities, by ensuring correct implementation of procedures and processes, to ensure product quality meets the stated requirements
• Use of quality tools and techniques such as 5 Why, 8D, PPAP, FMEA
• Able to read engineering drawings
• EASE DOA Approvals
• Confident undergoing customer Audits
• Conducting Route Cause Investigations and handling Customer Non-Conformances
• Measurement and analysis of Non-quality events in QMS to aid and direct continuous process improvement
• Work & Rework Instruction approval
• Previous Internal and External auditing experience to AS9100 level
• Able to mentor and provide guidance to colleagues
• Develop continuous improvement projects using lean toolbox techniques
• Producing and reviewing Company Operating Procedures
• Produce concise management reports, presentations, minutes and actions, generally using Microsoft Office

Required qualifications for this Aerospace Quality Engineer:
• HNC/HND/Degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Quality or Production qualifications
• Excellent communicator at any level
• Ability to influence at all levels internally and externally,
• Appreciation of standard measuring systems and methodologies
• Analytical skills and methodical approach to problem resolutions and root cause investigation
• Promote the use of quality tools and methods, especially risk management and metrics
• Organised, practical and logical in work approach
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Right first-time approach
• Must be eligible to work in the UK

Shifts for this Aerospace Quality Engineer are:
Monday – Friday 39 hour week with an early finish on a Friday
£35,000 per annum
