This is an Excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join an established Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy. They are looking to add to their Cardiff office working within a small team to meet demanding schedules on challenging projects.

They speciliase in multi sector developments & provide services to clients across the Southwest. The company actively encourage the development of their staff and pride themselves on a dynamic and supportive culture, now looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team.

Due to their success and increased workload, they are looking for a Structural Engineer with design experience, & someone that can meet the higher demand and take them to the next stages of success.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in a business’ ongoing success, assisting on exciting projects in a dynamic environment, working alongside an established and experienced team.

The Role:

• An accredited degree in Structural Engineering is required for this role
• Working towards chartership, (ICE or IStructE ) would be preferred but not essential
• Tedds, Telka Structural Designer, AutoCAD experience required
• The projects will involve concrete, masonry & design steel so experience with these is essential. Experience with timber is preferred but not essential
• The ideal candidate will have experience with Building Regulations & Eurocodes British Standards
• Experience in site visits in order to inspect works & produce site inspection reports
• The ability to deliver projects from pre construction/design stage through construction while supporting queries on site.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

The Person:

• 5+ years’ experience in Building structures design
