Excellent opportunity for a Civil or Structural Engineer to specialise your skills in a niche area of engineering, working with a fast growing consultancy in a fast-paced, challenging role where you’ll get to oversee junior team members.

On offer is the opportunity to apply your civil engineering knowledge in an interesting environmental role, where you’ll be able to autonomously see projects through from concept to completion.

Established 20 years ago, this unique company have amassed a successful reputation for themselves with a variety of project running globally. They specialise in delivering technical services for the waters and rivers. Due to rapid expansion and a very healthy order book, they are seeking an additional engineer to join their close-knit team and help contribute to their growth.

In this varied role, you’ll be working on the design of bespoke water construction projects where you’ll be working on the whole projects all the way through to construction and installation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge to a unique sector where you’ll make a positive environmental contribution and work on fascinating design projects, with an ambitious company who will put you train you in their niche industry.

The Role:
*Design of in river structures in a variety of materials including concrete/steel/timber
*AutoCAD designs and project management
*Liaising with highly skilled engineers and scientists
*Overseeing the work of junior team members
*Either office based or WFH/Remote Working with occasional office visits
*Some site travel UK wide or internationally

The Person:
*Civil/Structural Engineering Degree
*Construction background
*Design experience and proficient with AutoCAD
*Experience working with concrete/steel/timber
*Ideally Chartered or nearing (not a necessity)
