Excellent role on offer for a confident individual with an Civil Engineering or Surveying background and project management experience to step into the role of Assistant Operations Manager with a nationwide Surveying and Engineering company.
Are you a knowledgeable and experienced Engineering professional who is keen to demonstrate your management skills? Can you oversee a small team and manage the logistics of their projects? Can you work effectively with clients, colleagues, contractors and senior management?
The company is a reputable surveying and engineering business with a special focus on land, building and utilities surveying projects as well as site engineering works. The company has a strong inclusive work culture comprising of a highly skilled and motivated team looking to deliver projects to a high standard. They have 9 regional offices covering the UK and are a well known industry name.
In this position you will be managing a team of 6+ Site Engineers and subcontractors on their ongoing projects across the South East of England. This will include speaking regularly with clients, managing incoming quotes, ensure projects are running smooth by having all the right resources and makings sure they are deliver to spec. You will be overseeing the operations and logistics of this team and working directly with Director level leadership in ensuring the team are delivering and performing well.
The role would therefore suit an Engineering/Surveying professional with project or operations management experience and a confident approach. The successful candidate will be ambitious, competent in a client facing role and be highly organised in overseeing the operations of a small engineering team.
