Assistant Solar Site Manager – Ground Mount

4 days a week – Site Based
20 Month Contract
£250 – £300 Per day (Outside IR35 – Ltd Co/CIS)

Are you looking for a long-term contract, Outside IR35, CIS, with a well-established company?

This international organisation provide asset management, construction management and technical advisory services for large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar and energy storage. They have thrived in recent years and continue to succeed in the UK market, and as a result they are now looking to recruit a Site Management team to oversee the construction of a large ground-mount solar project in the Kent region.

In this role, the successful candidate will assist the site manager in overseeing the construction of a 350MW solar farm. You will assist in a range of tasks depending on your experience, which could include assessing the quality of materials being used, checking and reporting on progress, maintaining H&S on site, and ensuring the project is being completed to high standards and to specification.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background working on construction sites, i.e. commercial / industrial projects, large residential builds etc. You should also have good electrical, structural and / or civils knowledge.

The Role:
*Site Based role in Faversham, Kent
*Reporting into Site Manager and assist with their duties
*Check on progress of project and report
*Assess quality of materials i.e. consistency of concrete
*Maintain H&S on site
*Ensure construction meets specification
*20 Month contract
*Starting in October

The Person:
*Proven experience working on construction sites as a senior engineer, supervisor etc.
*Knowledge of electrical, structural and / or civils projects
*Available from October
*Wanting a days based, long term contract role where you have the option to work through your own Ltd Co or on a Self-employed basis
