We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner for a 12 month fixed term contract who will partner with the business to attract and hire the best talent for Rio Tinto. This role will be based at our Perth Central Park office with plenty of flexibility to work from home regularly. You will be well connected to the business, partnering with hiring leaders, HR stakeholders and our pre-onboarding team in India, to drive the delivery of end to end recruitment services.

The role:

• Facilitate the delivery of recruitment services focusing on a comprehensive job brief, well thought out sourcing strategies, preparing competitive offers and ensuring the pre-onboarding processes are executed smoothly
• Promote and build a high performance culture through the attraction, assessment and selection of the highest caliber candidates available
• Gain a sound understanding of your business units and ensure recruitment is aligned to their requirements and strategy
• Identify and implement bespoke and relevant sourcing strategies to deliver high quality service requirements that meets the business need
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, providing a level of service that is both proactive and consultative

What you’ll bring:

• Significant experience gained within an internal recruitment environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of the external labour market
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Efficiency and confidence with computer systems
• Energy and enthusiasm with a real passion for making a difference through quality hiring with a focus on diversity
• Passive candidate search and engagement skills along with success in utilising tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Seek Talent Search to source talent.
• Experience in building brand awareness, creating talent communities and establishing new ways to market to active and passive candidates.
• The ability to role model the organisation values and behaviours
• The resilience to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
