ing to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead – US and South America while working in a collaborative environment within a diverse Talent Acquisition Team you will be:

• Building strong trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers to understand their business and staffing requirements, ensuring the highest quality of candidates are presented in a timely manner.
• Developing and implementing recruiting strategies for various locations
• Leveraging professional networking, internet resources, social media, direct sourcing techniques, alumni organizations, and professional sites to source diverse internal and candidates.
• Ensuring a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process.
• Collaborating with other members of the Talent Team to drive talent acquisition efficiencies and performance.
• Consulting with hiring managers regarding current and future headcount needs, candidate selection, and initial on-boarding processes.
• Advising hiring managers on best practices for interviewing skills, talent acquisition process, and retention.
• Managing candidate and job information in our Applicant Tracking System.
• Other duties and additional projects as assigned

What you’ll bring

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• In-depth end-to-end recruitment experience
• Tech savvy and curious
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Good command of social media tools usage (LinkedIn, Indeed, SmashFly, etc.)
• Experience with an ATS (Cornerstone preferred)
• Ability to partner with the HR teams to harmonize the hiring process
• Experience in the mining industry is an asset

Where you’ll be working

Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter, and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903 and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of U.S. annual copper production.
