Job Summary:
Rinchem is looking for a Software Developer to add to the team responsible for all system integrations and Salesforce.com portal development. This person will need to demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and the drive to constantly improve their skill set.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical engineering including Salesfoce.com development.
• 2-4 years direct work experience in a software development capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Previous experience of proposing new technologies and solutions, investigating and researching when necessary
• Successful demonstration of advanced knowledge of application development lifecycles, technical reviews, software maintenance, configuration management, human factors/interface, software testing, debugging, and quality assurance
• 2-4 years of experience analyzing and developing business applications in these functional areas
• 2-4 years in implementing enterprise-wide applications a plus
• Work experience, Hands-on application design/development – 2 – 4 years – in multiple technologies and platforms including ASP, .Net, C#, Javascript, Angular, React, and Force.com platform and Lightening a plus.

Communication Skills:

• The ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to team members as well as individuals at all levels of Rinchem

Computer Skills:

• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Rally, Jira, or etc.
• An advanced understanding of relational database functionality (SQL Server).
• Competent and proficient with IDEs like Visual Studio, JetBrains, Eclipse, etc….

Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

• Salesforce development certifications a plus

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with and working knowledge of process modeling, use-case development, cause-and-effect diagrams, Custom Off Shelf (COS) systems, process maps and interface specifications
• Knowledge and experience with SDLC & Agile practices
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage time, and works efficiently with no supervision

Primary Responsibilities of the Job:

• Understands and employs software development methodologies.
• Analyzes user requirements and publishes requirements documentation.
• Designs applications and creates specifications.
• Works with other programmer/analysts to design interfaces to other applications or systems.
• Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
• Write code that is easily maintainable and highly reliable
• Develops and documents new business applications.
• Enhances and documents existing applications.
• Provides application support for escalated production events.
• Assists Business Systems Analyst in the training of business application end-users for newly developed or enhanced business applications.
• Schedules and prioritizes workload with supervisor and completes scheduled tasks on time.
• Reviews technical materials to maintain currency with industry trends and programming technologies.
• Engaging in change control in order to prevent project “scope creep”
• Providing status reports on projects and deliverables
• Other duties as assigned
