RIMEX is the leading custom manufacturer of all off road wheel and rim assemblies. RIMEX’s primary markets include mining, forestry, agriculture and industrial equipment, specializing in haul trucks and loaders. RIMEX also offers a full range of complementary products to match their wheel counterparts.

We have a need for a Labourer in our Langley branch. The position is full time – 40 hours per week, with possible shift work. We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.

Position requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform tasks such as Grinding and Deburring in a safe manner with minimal rework

Lift and move product safely as required

Perform various tasks and assignments as instructed by the supervisor using various tools

Identify safety hazards and bring it to the attention of the supervisor

Operate all equipment, including small hand tools, in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

General clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environment

Education & Experience:
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience using various hand tools

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience in welding or machine operation an asset

Skills and Abilities:
Great attention to detail with the ability to focus on the task at hand

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in English

Team oriented thinker with the ability to work alone or in a team

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to read a measuring tape

Ability to work with moderate supervision

Proven ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift 50 pounds
