Riley Wigle CPAs is looking for an experienced tax professional to join our team. We are a well-established firm with a solid client base in need of an experienced professional to help maintain and expand relationships with our existing clientele. This position will act as a trusted advisor for our clients, providing complex tax preparation, analysis, planning and compliance services. This role involves direct client contact, so the perfect candidate should have excellent communication skills, enjoy maintaining client relationships, and have the desire to serve clients with quality and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate, partnership, individual, trust and estate tax returns
• Work directly with clients from initial meeting through completion of the engagement
• Participate in the creation and development of processes which enhance client experience and improve efficiency
• Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine strategies necessary to meet clients’ objectives
• Lead new client development, and engage with the local business community
• Assist in the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements

Qualifications

• 4-7 years recent experience in public accounting
• Experience in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate returns
• Financial statement preparation experience preferred
• Excellent research, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or another related field
• Willingness to act as a team player in a small firm environment
• Experience with Lacerte tax software preferred
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Licensed CPA highly preferred
