Friendly, Enthusiastic Part Time Chiropractic Office Assistant Wanted

We are a fast growing chiropractic office in Santa Barbara, California. We are a warm, friendly, busy office looking to fill two part-time positions for front desk, reception, back office, and administrative duties in our dynamic and growing chiropractic office (est.

2000). The star person we are looking for… is a goal setter, self motivated, kind, friendly, reliable, energetic, fun to work with, has a positive mental attitude with mature communication skills both verbal and written.

You are attentive, professional, and accurate. You are responsive and willing to meet each challenge / opportunity directly.

No experience in a chiropractic office setting necessary…we will train a great candidate!

Please do not apply if you live more than 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, and / or if you cannot work the following hours

Schedule 1 : Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 : 00am – 3 : 00pm + Saturday 8 : 00am -11 : 00am

Schedule 2 : Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11 : 00am – 6 : 00pm + Tuesday 11 : 00am – 2 : 00pm

Tuesdays and Saturdays can be alternated between the two assistants)

Duties will include :

• Greeting patients with a smile
• Answering phones with energy and enthusiasm
• Work closely with the doctors to manage office efficiency, flow and quality of customer care
• Billing, and front desk financial collections
• Scheduling, and patient recalls
• Writing letters / email correspondence
• Tracking patient visits, office statistics, goal-setting for the office
• Making sure the kids and families that come in feel the warmth of our office and get the extra personal touch
• Point of contact for vendors, neighborhood organizations, etc.
• Onboarding new hires
• Organizing office events, office flow, etc.
• Managing licensing, certifications, maintenance scheduling
• Stocking and organizing

Tasks vary from answering patients inquiries, scheduling appointments, discussing financial s and

organizing office events. Comfortable with performing a wide variety of tasks in an office in a constant

state of motion is a must.

Requirements :

• A minimum of one year worth of college credits
• Must have a passion for wellness, be energetic and comfortable promoting a healthy lifestyle
• Efficient with utilization of computers, proficient with Microsoft Office windows, Mac, and general office tasks / organization
• High energy, great work ethic and outgoing social skills
• Any sales, marketing or service background is a huge bonus!
