Responsibilities:

• Works under the supervision of the Director-Budget/Reimbursement/Tax/Cost
• The accountant is responsible for the monthly preparation and analysis of estimated contractual adjustments charity and bad debt the preparation and filing of Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports and settlements the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets Federal/State and local tax returns reporting to the state COPN Regulatory Authority and cost analysis
• The analyst works in a highly computerized environment interprets and communicates federal and state regulations and manages and accesses priorities and deadlines
• Assessing the theoretical integrity of his/her accounting functions in the accounting department
• Interacts with regulatory and taxing agencies external consultants’ auditor’s department directors Vice Presidents and facility administrators in the completion of his/her assignments

Requirements:

• 4 year Accounting Degree
