Following a major restructure and overhaul of our working practices, we have a number of vacancies that will help us implement our new operating model. At the heart of this model is a “digital first” approach, designed to enhance our engagement with Members.

As part of this recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Student Engagement Coordinator to join a growing team to focus on University students:

In this role the Student Engagement Coordinator will:

• deliver the engagement strategy with schools, colleges, and mainly universities and students to raise awareness of the profession at every academic level;
• increasing understanding and promoting the benefits of a career in surveying
• influence the future number of trainees enrolling with RICS

The postholder will inspire young people into a career in the natural and built environment, helping to shape the places and spaces in which we all live and work.

You will:

• Be able to manage, co-ordinate and deliver locally based career and educational activities (Inspire workshops);
• Attend educational careers fairs to promote a career in surveying;
• Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to ensure collateral for schools and careers fairs are tailored, relevant, and engaging
• Provide appropriate material to academic institutions to support their internal careers programmes;
• Identify and recruit suitable members to fulfil ambassador roles within universitys;

Essential skills are Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; Experience of business writing and professional telephone etiquette; Experience of writing and delivering training material; Excellent presentation skills

Salary: £25,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
