Finance Analyst

Location: Remote with travel to RICS offices as and when required

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis and Planning function here at RICS who are responsible for providing financial insight to the organisation and its key stakeholders.

You will work with the team to provide vital information, research and expertise to ensure that the organisation is making the best decisions for the future

Key Responsibilities

· Margin/cost management ensuring integrity of revenue, margin or cost data, budgets and forecasts

· Create clarity and performance understanding against cost, revenue or margin optimisation initiatives

· Create financial models and use them to recommend investment, expansion, cost-cutting ideas or revenue growth streams

· Add value by identifying risks and opportunities during the forecasting process, and work with business partners to realise those opportunities and mitigate the risks

· Create charts, tables and graphs and present the data in an effective format

· Participate in business case development

· Provision of MI to Management Accounting Team

· Conduct Business Partnering at a tactical level

Experience / Skills Required

· Studying towards a finance qualification – ACCA or CIMA

· Degree educated in Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent

· Demonstrable experience in a Financial Analysis role

· Excellent maths and numeracy skills

· Analytical and critical thinking skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

· Computing expertise including designing spreadsheets and presentations

· Expertise in researching and interpreting financial reports
