Richardson Electronics Ltd Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Lafox, IL Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage our intercompany reconciliation process. Includes partnering with our Treasury team and non-U.S. based accountants to prepare global intercompany payments and invoicing.
• Control month-end close process for one or more of our foreign entities including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Prepare lease analysis and assistance with implementing new accounting standards.
• Create new ledger accounts and maintain existing accounts.
• Complete monthly revaluation process and prepare analysis for the foreign exchange impact on our income statement.
• Prepare corporate credit card journals and other analysis as assigned.
• Assist with cost accounting transactions.
• Special projects and analysis as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant work experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience with intercompany transactions a plus
• Proficiency in Excel required
