The Role
A dynamic and pivotal role working in the Commercial & Industrial Laundry sector, reporting into the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for providing value-add analysis and reporting as well as the budgeting and forecasting process and providing finance business partnering support to various stakeholders within the group. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to make better business decisions using internal and external data
• Provide insights on budget and forecast variances that drive change and action
• Help identify areas for improvement and make suggestions on how to add value, remove costs, improve efficiencies, and improve practices
• Carry responsibility in the team while Financial Controller leads the major ERP refresh project
• Enrich RJ Group with insights, trends, business analytics and business intelligence, brining outside industry experiences to the RJ Group
• Support or lead optimisation projects that relate to business intelligence reporting and internal processes
• Support business decision making through accurate, clear and concise presentation of financial data for Board and Leadership Team
• Ongoing continuous improvement mindset, with focus on simplification of periodic tasks like reporting, new projects and existing tasks
• Supporting data for audits, internal control, budgets, and ad-hoc business requests.

The Candidate

• Tertiary Qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting
• Hold a CA or CPA qualification or currently completing
• Experience in similar SME, or corporate business
• Knowledge and experience in financial and management accounting
• Ability to define, analyse and resolve complex accounting issues involving multiple ERPs, Business Units and Functions
• Sound knowledge of accounting and reporting systems
• High level analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated drive and experience in continuous improvement projects.
• Advanced Excel skills
